Shooters Hill Forum is a community platform for residents of Shooters Hill and the surrounding areas of London, UK. The Forum provides:

4. Acceptable Use

You May:

You May NOT:

Listings
Classifieds are for local, person-to-person transactions. You must accurately describe items/services. Misleading or fraudulent listings are prohibited. The Forum is not responsible for transactions between users.
Prohibited Items
Illegal items or services, stolen goods, weapons or explosives, drugs or controlled substances, adult content or services, counterfeit items, and multi-level marketing schemes.
Transactions
All transactions are between buyer and seller only. Meet in public places for safety. The Forum is not party to any sale and has no responsibility for disputes between users.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant the Forum a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content. You are solely responsible for your content.
Forum Content
The Forum design, software, and branding are protected by copyright. phpBB software is licensed under GNU General Public Licence v2. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Forum software or design.

7. Platform Evolution & Data Portability

Service Development
The Forum may evolve over time. We may introduce new features, partner with other platforms, transfer specific functionality (such as classifieds/marketplace) to successor platforms, or rebrand services.
Marketplace Migration
You acknowledge that marketplace functionality may be migrated to a dedicated platform in future. Your listings may be transferred to such successor platforms. You will be notified in advance and retain the right to delete your listings prior to migration.
Your Data Rights
Regardless of platform evolution: you can request deletion of your data at any time, you can export your listing history upon request, we will provide reasonable notice before significant platform changes, and your privacy rights under GDPR remain unchanged.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Forum is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Forum, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Moderation

Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion. We may edit, move, or delete posts that violate these terms. We are not obligated to monitor all content.
User Discipline
Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans. Serious violations may be reported to authorities. Banned users may not create new accounts.

Service Availability

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; we are not liable for losses from service interruptions; we are not liable for user content or user interactions; we are not liable for classified ad transactions; our total liability shall not exceed £100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shooters Hill Forum, its operators, and moderators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Forum, your violation of these terms, your violation of any laws or third-party rights, and content you post.
